The people saying that the main character is awful are missing the entire point of the movie and character. It is disturbing and has a lack of action which works towards the point the movie is trying to make although i see as another complaint. if you cant handle that there is no action and that the subject matter is disturbing go and watch marvel movies. The point of the movie is to be a slow burn which depicts the morally bankrupt actions of the media and news specifically among many other complex themes. the ones saying "might as well watch paint dry" i have a feeling even have a hard time understanding the concept of paint drying and would probably not enjoy anything like parasite or the lighthouse that make you properly think

It's hard to talk about this movie without spoiling it. Know that it deserves your attention and your time. Jake Gyllenhaal is barely recognizable in the movie, it is a true travesty he wasn't even nominated for an academy award for role. Quite possible his best film to date. The movie pushes boundaries and shows a world that is not only real but terrifying to witness.

Absolutely chilling, cringe worthy and hard to watch, for all of the right reasons. Gyllenhaal is incredible and sociopathic. The film is a dark commentary on our Gladiator news agencies; don't report the truth, report the blood.
