Derek Raabe
Being a huge fan of clive's book cabal, naturally was not a huge fan of the original adaptation released. I felt the film glazed over key points that made the book great. So when I heard that clive was going back and recutting the film the way he wanted it in the first place, I was extremely happy. I managed to get my hands on the special edition cut a bit early, an it is like watching an entirely different film. This is the vision that clive wanted to portray from his original writing!!!

Not as Campy and Anne Bobby as the suffering girlfriend, really get's a much bigger and better role. It's like they cut all the Goonies type kids stuff out and added the elements that Nightmare's are made of. Much more of a Barker feel!

One of my favorite movies of my childhood, this is one of the best movies Clive Barker has ever made. Not quite a Nightmare on Elm Street 6 (Freddy's Dead: The Final Nightmare) but a totally wonderful mesmerizer, especially for creative little minds!!
