Like any great artist, they rap about what they know - comic books, astrophysics, and internet porn...Many welcome Nerdcore as a break from the 'bitches and guns' of traditional rappers. Yet the rappers say this is entirely accidental: "it's just that I've lived through saving Princess Peach from Mario", says Nomad. 'Moby Dick' and Poe's 'The Raven' litter the lyrics of MC Lars. Whilst 'Lord of the Rhymes' - "straight out of Brooklynshire" - choose 'elf booty' as a theme. These rappers have found popularity out of the very things which once led them to be egged at school!
