If you give yourself over to The Neon Demon, let yourself be completely immersed in its hypnotic fever dream, it will stick with you, burrowed in your subconscious. It truly is a work of art. A flawed work of art, to be sure, but a work of art nonetheless. It can come off as pretentious, very experimental, ballsy, and f***ed up, but that is what Winding Refn does better than almost anyone. There are so many different ways to interpret this movie and I liked that about it. Visually stunning, euphorically amazing soundtrack by Cliff Martinez, and great performances by Elle Fanning and Jena Malone, this is a strange art-house film that is poised to become a cult classic. 4 stars (out of 5)

Ok I really loved this....If you wanna be deep it is filled with psychological key points....but otherwise just plain beautiful and really scary in a real way...totally didn't see the end play coming..but be warned if your idea of entertainment is x-men then you will just not get this flick and be really bummed out

I went in to this with no expectations and I am rarely disappointed but this movie felt like it was all build up. The word "climax" is more exciting than the actual climax of the film. It just left me with the feeling of "Really...this is it? This is the big payoff?" Anyway, Keanu Reeves did a good job portraying a sleazy creeper and I liked the cinematography. TLDR: Bad movie. Nice art peice.
