A unique Father, son bonding story. A Journey towards A Chance at a million dollars. Or a chance at reconciliation between a Son and his delusional Pops. And the lengths he'll go to fulfill the old mans fantasy of his Six-Digit Prize. Just to learn more of his quiet old gray introverted Dad whos sensitivity is all the while intriguing. And the use of black and white film creates the perfect atmosphere for this drama/comedy. An overall message of what Family is or "Family" and what true hope can bring you.

Dont get me wrong this is a great film (words that rarely come out of my mouth) but sadly '12 years' will likely win for 'content' or 'Gravity' because it was an amazing spectacle.. But these films shouldn't win for best picture merely because one bring to view the horrors of my country's atrocities and the other was merely a slap and tickle of the eyes.. Gravity WAS JUST THAT ! THE ACTING WAS GOOD (not great) tge directing was self indulgent at times and well sorry lol got off subj 'D.B.C"&'HER

Liked only Will Forte. All other leads, especially Bruce Dern and his obnoxious wife were one dimensional characters. Really boring. As for story, the son's a recovered alcoholic, but drinks with his father and doesn't drink again. Silly! Don't waste your time.
