The MLP:FiM series deserves better than this movie. Not to say it's all bad, there are a couple of songs I enjoy from this film, but I would never introduce anyone to the series by showing them this film. The series has way better songs and writing, plus the series season ending cliffhanger enemies/challenges feel far more menacing/threatening than whatever Storm King & Tempest were. If you're a fan of the fantastic series, do yourself a favor and pass on this film.

I think this movie was Straight up- boring its basiclly THE EXACT SAME THING AS THE EPISODES How? Bad guy comes twlight and her friends do a bit of aventuring then beat/make friends with the bad guy. The part that was slightly out of touch was that halfway of the movie temprist and twlight BECAME FRIENDS already- and that thinking that saving temprist was already enough to make her friendly was very confusing because temprist was evil and now shes normal this movie is just very confusing.

I love mlp but this movie is literally only good if you imagine that it is a fan fiction made by a 12 year old. The characters are a little out of character, Tempest is exactly what you'd see on a cringy oc post, and the story itself has a few major plot holes. I legit had to think of it as a child's fan fiction just to get through it. Like if a child wrote this then it is great. Like I'd legit rate it higher if it was.
