About this movie

A critically acclaimed masterpiece from the mind of David Lynch, creator of Twin Peaks and Inland Empire. Los Angeles, city of angels. Amnesiac and wounded, a mysterious femme fatale wanders on the sinuous road of Mulholland Drive. She finds shelter at Betty's house (Naomi Watts, King Kong), an aspiring actress just arrived from her hometown and in search of stardom in Hollywood. Initially intrigued by the stranger who calls herself Rita (Laura Elena Harring), Betty discovers that her handbag is full of dollar bundles. The two women get to know each other better and decide to investigate in order to discover Rita's true identity... This slick, sinister, psycho-sexual thriller comes from the darkest recesses of Hollywood, a Los Angeles of strange dreams, unrequited love and a jealous burning rage.

An absolute masterpiece of film making. Do not expect this mystery-thriller to spoonfeed you answers, do know expect to know what's important and what's not, so not expect to know what the hell is going on for large periods of time... But trust me by the end you'll be thinking and wondering about it for day, months and years later. Everyone should watch this once, in the dark, in silence and genuinely take an interest. You'll never this of mysteries or thrillers in the same way again!

Worst film ever, I can't believe I wasted 2.5 hours. The film is a complete waste of time. There is no story line just 2 ladies with no outcome. How this got 8/ 10 on IMDb I'm astonished. Just don't waste your time

Lynch at his absolute best. I had to work to follow the plot; kind of refreshing in today's "teach to suck eggs" culture. One of my favourite films of all time.. truly a masterpiece..
