About this movie

Full of daring action and hilarious characters, the fun-filled MULAN celebrates honor, courage, and the importance of family. Clever Mulan proves her worth outside of her tradition-bound society when, disguised as a male soldier, "Ping," she bravely takes her father's place in the Imperial Army. Helped by her outrageously funny guardian dragon Mushu and a lucky cricket named Cri-Kee, Mulan strives to earn the respect of her fellow warriors and their courageous Captain Shang. Mulan's adventures lead to a climactic battle atop the Imperial Palace, where her family's honor and the fate of the Emperor and all of China rests in her hands!

I think it's definitely one of the best Disney films there is. The animation & music are so captivating, especially w/ the more-dramatic scenes. It has very good pacing & a variety of interesting moments to really keep my attention. The characters all stand out so much & have a lot of charming personality, no matter their expression or mood. I think the main villain lacks a little bit of depth, but it doesn't bother me that much; I think the rest of the film makes up for it.

I have always loved the movie Mulan, but, this video didn't play no matter what we did to make it play, we only got to the part where the guy on the great wall of China was attacked. this was not worth the money i spent on this movie-even if it is one of my favorites. (i would give the movie five stars if the movie even played, but this didn't make or my family happy).

I don't know what to say. The Chinese atmosphere makes me believe I'm in Imperial China 1000 years ago. Mulan is the best Disney Princess ever made. While I like Snow White or Cinderella, the cliche of girls in trouble to be saved by a princess or a girl looking for love gets stale and repetitive after a while. Mulan is a breath of fresh air. She is so selfless to the point where she pretends to be a man and joins the Chinese army to save her father's life. Mushu and Crik-ee are absolutely hilarious. 20/10!
