I have so much nostalgia of this movie that I really can't even hate it. Yes the CGI and some of the acting doesn't really hold up but look on the bright side; it gave us that funky iconic techno theme we all know and love, A better Kano then what was originally established, a funny Raiden, a snarky Johnny, and a villain sorcerer who we can't stop quoting. I love this movie! Even with it's flaws.

This is arguably one of the least bad video game-based movies ever made. It genuinely rises to the level of mediocrity. It's cheesy, but it's got a good beat and the fight choreography is exciting. Oh, and the lead actor is good. Why didn't we see him in anything else?
