Monsters vs Aliens

This movie violates the Third Commandment by taking God's name in vain. "Holy Cheez-It's" is an irreverent play on the name of Jesus. "OMG," without the due reverence which belongs to God, is a reducing of His holy name to a curse word, an expression of disgust, or a blasphemous expression of shock or surprise. Such offensive remarks are totally unnecessary and needlessly cause offense to Christians who seek to honor God and His glorious name.

On the merits of duplicating it, parodying it, and making a respectful homage to the B-Movie monster genre, it gets top marks but it is also its flaw. Whatever compelling story it could tell is nonexistent because of its nature. Still much like it's predecessors, I watch it often.

I found this movie funny, partly, because of the way it showed that the President could be totally STUPID, rather than the wisest man in the country, as most Hollywood movies, usually, do. The humour, in general, wasn't scarce, keeping the movie entertaining.
