I'm just glad that Disney's coming up with movies where the princess is imdependent and doesn't need to be saved by a man. That teaches little girls that they can survive on their own as well and don't really need someone to protect them when they're older. And to all those people saying that their kids are scared of the movie then u should've read the bit where it tells u some scenes may scare little kids and thats y the age restriction is 6 and above. So ur 4 yr old shouldn't be watching it anyway

Not your usual Disney movie. The songs are engaging and an integral part of the story telling...not as annoying as most. I rarely find a movie where I love ALL the songs and music, so much, that I purchase the whole soundtrack. But I did with Moana. The Wave and Hei hei steal the show, but I personally love Grandma Tala. My kids (29 and 25) and Grandchildren (ranging from 1 to 5 and a half) LOVE this movie (Yes even the so called "scary" parts... the idea is.... Don't use a TV, as a babysitter! Sit with the kids and discuss it as you go if you need to. There are quality lessons within, if you care to find them!!!!)... and well ... whats not to love..... Thank You.... You're Welcome!!

I think this movie is not really appropriate for kids. We have a 4 year old and we needed to turn it off she was far too scared by that demon cloud. I also thought it was too much, I finished it in my own to see if I could fast forward any more scary bits, but there was far too many. Lame. The only good part was Hey-hey.
