Hunters have been disappearing from North American wildlands for hundreds of years, many without leaving a trace. Former police detective David Paulides was initially brought on to investigate the circumstances around the many mysterious disappearances - here he presents the haunting true stories of hunters experiencing the unexplainable. Missing 411: The Hunted is based on the book by Paulides, which documents 185 cases of missing peoples from four different countries. All 185 cases fit a narrowly defined profile that was refined after researching thousands of missing person reports; these cases are the most difficult, defy common sense, challenge conventional wisdom and remain unexplained.

Hugely disappointed after downloading for a long flight. Expected genuine conspiracy and was bored to tears when the first "mysterious disappearances" involved a partially deaf/partially blind 80+ yr man, another elderly man with mobility challenges and a woman in her 70's who all wandered off in the woods. All had some unusual aspects to their case but their age/circumstances killed any serious intrigue. There must be more compelling cases to report. Why chose these for the movie?

Not fully in depth. I would say that these accounts are quite public, yet reserved. While i personally have hear of some of the cases and information presented. I think this documentary leaves plenty of information out. For some this might be information enough for others you might find the same information just doing a Google search.

We were intrigued by this movie up until the last story. In Ohio, hunting season doesn’t start till end of September. With this story happening in aug, nothing made since after that which leads us to rethink the whole movie. Super disappointed after that point. Not sure if we believe anything about this film. We live in Ohio.
