UPDATE: Even better the 2nd time around, so it gets an extra star. DAMN outstanding piece of filmmaking right there. Give it a shot if you haven't already. If it's ever at a price point I find acceptable, I will certainly buy it. | • • | Earlier review: Not my usual choice of flick (I like ACTION) but pretty interesting as a character study of a strong female with ambiguous morality and an equally strong female supporting cast. The men did great too, but Chastain totally owned it! Loving the long overdue revolution going on now of heroines saving themselves as well as others. More of this please, Hollywood! Politics isn't my scene at all so wasn't sure at first, but this rapidly turned into compelling viewing. Will definitely be checking out Molly's Game on the strength of this and whatever else the writer and director have done...

Loved it. Ambitious strong ruthless credible character with a good cast around and an intelligent script on a sensitive topic.

More than worthy of the 75% Rotten Tomatoes rating. Recommended.
