In the lead up to Christmas our family traditionally watches an assortment of Christmas movies. Each year one of the movies is Miracle on 34th Street. Actually we watch both versions, but our favourite is the original version in black and white. Sure we can watch the colourised version which we also have in our library, but the original black and white version seems to work better. As a 53 year old person, I've seen many movies, including the high tech CGI movies, but the movies that seem to touch my heart and emotions are some of the old black and white movies. They don't need the modern special effects. Out of the many Christmas movies out there, Miracle on 34th Street is one that almost has me believing in Santa, and has me wishing Santa was real. I'm looking forward to watching Miracle again very soon, maybe even this week, seeing that it's getting close to Christmas. If I could give 10 stars, this movie would definitely get 10 stars from me. I highly recommend this movie to anyone who wants a traditional quality Christmas movie. Enjoy...
