After rescuing his son, Alton, from a fundamentalist religious sect who are convinced his mysterious powers are the key to their salvation, Roy, Alton and their bodyguard Lucas are on the run for their lives. What starts as a desperate escape from a fearsome cult soon attracts the attention of secretive government forces who believe Alton to be a threat to mankind’s very existence.
