About this movie
Justine en Michael vieren hun bruiloft in het huis van haar zus Claire. Ondertussen beweegt de planeet Melancholia zich richting aarde en worden de twee zussen geconfronteerd met het snel naderende einde van de wereld. Terwijl Justine al in een diepe depressie verkeert, verzet Claire zich tot het einde.

A masterpiece, and one of my favourite movies. People who have never suffered from depression might not truly understand where the main character is coming from, but for me it really hit home. The end is breathtaking and made me cry so much. I still think about Melancholia a lot, even years after I've watched it. This is one of the few movies I want to see again!
