Based on a true story, McFarland USA is the story of a family arriving in a new community where they are unsure of how they fit in. Jim White has become the new P.E. Coach at the local high school and soon discovers the talented distance runners in his class. He petitions the principal to form a Cross Country team, and gradually he and his family find there is a neighborhood and a place to grow in their new town.

Disney has made all runners dreams come true by putting an end to football movies. Finally a true sport movie of a sport that not many people acknowledge. I run cross country and a lot of schools look down at my school but we still are great sports and we never give up just like McFarland.

Loved every minute of it. It was very overwhelming and inspirational. This is officially the very BEST disney movie made. God bless each runner. Being a Picker doesn't mean that you can not have an education. Overall, I am sure that I will be watching this movie constantly. THIS MOVIE DESERVES MOVE THAN A 5.
