Max Payne

Had high hopes for this film. Being that I have played and absolutely loved the game this film is based on, I was sadly disappointed. Only one use of Bullet time in film. I appreciate some of the game material cannot be translated into film, but to completely fragment the story to a point where it doesn't work is stupid. Really wish we could have gotten the Payne and redemption independent film. Another failed video game to film adaptation.

I got this free courtesy of Pringles and am glad I chose it. Max Payne has a reasonably good plot behind all the stunts and action scenes which kept it interesting. It is better than some film adaptations of video games I've seen

A messy, disappointing adaptation of neo-noir video game series. It's badly cast. Mark Wahlberg doesn't really work as Max, same with Mila Kunis as Mona. The story is a mess. They also somehow forgot to include action in this action film? There is literally one bullet-time shot and it's not very exciting.
