Its not to bad but its no great shakes. Very pretensios it tries to be great film but its more like Barbara Cartland than Mary Shelly. The much vaunted make up isnt that good. On the plus side ypu get to see Helan Bonham Carter go splat twice in one night

A relatively faithful adaptation of the novel, well acted and beautifully shot. Definitely worth checking out.
