Mary Poppins Returns

WHAT HAVE THEY DONE TO MARY POPPINS , Can I just start with p l Travers the lovely lady who invented Mary Poppins she would be horrified to see this film.They mock her original story and the people that have worked hard with Walt Disney to create the original Mary Poppins.While watching this film I noticed at 1 point when she fell back into the bath she look like a scary witch going to drown children. I'd also like to know why they tried to replace chimney sweeps with lamp post cleaners ....

I loved it when I went to see it in cinemas! It hints towards the original film without being too blatantly obvious. Emily Blunt does an amazing job as Mary Poppins and embraces the more serious atmosphere of the movie and makes it her own. The songs are catchy and the structure is very clever, how they lay it out in the same style as the first film. I would definitely recommend it as a film that you can just watch and enjoy. It is a really good film and is worth the watch and the 2 hours of time

Wow,I honestly don't get why people are so quick to judge this film.Try telling the people who spent ten hours(or more)of their lives a day for months to their faces,that this film is a disappoint.There is always room for improvement I am aware,but with negative feed backs such like this,you are taking away that room of improvemnt.It is not a remake it is a sequel by the way.If you don't want a sequel don't watch if you want to grib unto the past by all means.
