In my opinion not even close to a classic film, full of plot exploitable next film pending stuff. It also requires you to be connected to many of the characters and their story arcs. I rate films on...I have to have in my collection, I will watch again, if on TV wil watch, could of been worse or to fall asleep or walk out off cinema. There was a few times I thought to myself , oh dear , this really is Hollywood hype train stuff. Now I have seen it I don't need to see again.

It was fine. It might have got a 4* if there hasn't been so much hype. CGI incredible, Thor has a new lease of life post Ragnarok and is now possibly my favourite character. It was clever how all of the characters came together, though meant that too little time was really spent setting each one up, which was understandable considering how many there were. However, a few too many moment shoehorned in, particularly a Star Lord moment. Made me cross. Those bits were not well done.

A truly epic movie that gives each of the characters enough screentime to ensure that everyone's story is told. There is some light comedy that perfectly balances with some of the darker tones of the film, which had one of the best endings in film history. The effects are out of this world and the score is pitched just right. The reason for four and not five stars are the continuity errors, that are glaringly obvious.
