About this movie

From filmmaker George Miller, originator of the post-apocalyptic genre and mastermind behind the legendary Mad Max trilogy, comes this return to the world of the Road Warrior, Max Rockatansky. Haunted by his turbulent past, Mad Max (Tom Hardy -- The Dark Knight Rises) believes the best way to survive is to wander alone. Nevertheless, he becomes swept up with a band of survivors fleeing across the Wasteland in a war rig driven by an elite Imperator, Furiosa (Oscar ® winner Charlize Theron-- Prometheus). They are escaping a Citadel tyrannized by the Immortan Joe (Hugh Keays-Byrne), from whom something irreplaceable has been taken. Enraged, the Warlord marshals all his gangs and ruthlessly pursues the rebels in the high-octane Road War that follows.

When i read about the black and white release back when the movie was in theaters, i was lead to believe it was a silent "music only" version that was supposed to portray the emotional aspects much more intensely. instead it appears it is literally just the same movie but in black and "chrome". stupid.

When the main character serves no real purpose and has no real lines besides the odd word(s) or grunts. This movie was just a woman's rights campaign put to film and given fancy effects.

Just to be clear for everyone complaining about this being another "cash sucker" because its just a monochrome version. The director George Miller original WANTED the movie to be b/w. After the producers shot him down they allowed him to release it as a new edition. This is solely for die hard fans and is in no way any different from the original movie except that its in black and white.
