About this movie

From director George Miller, originator of the post-apocalyptic genre and mastermind behind the legendary “Mad Max” franchise, comes “Mad Max: Fury Road,” a return to the world of the Road Warrior, Max Rockatansky. Haunted by his turbulent past, Mad Max (Tom Hardy) believes the best way to survive is to wander alone. Nevertheless, he becomes swept up with a group fleeing across the Wasteland in a War Rig driven by an elite Imperator, Furiosa (Charlize Theron). They are escaping a Citadel tyrannized by the Immortan Joe (Hugh Keays-Byrne), from whom something irreplaceable has been taken. Enraged, the Warlord marshals all his gangs and pursues the rebels ruthlessly in the high-octane Road War that follows.

The best action film of all time! I was never a Mad Max fan but when I went to see MMFR in the cinema it blew me away. Some critics have criticized the film over a simple plot, but I believe that such people overlooked just about every quality the film has. The film is oozing with sub-culture and it's amazing to see how people in desperate situations have different priorities which aren't obvious until they're played out. With regards to the feminism angle to the film, there's a message in there for both sexes, about the opposite sex.....and the killer grannies on bikes were both funny and adorable. The way that there is little CGI and plenty of good old fashion stunt ridden action is absolutely brilliant. I was smiling ear to ear with tears down my face from a huge adrenalin rush watching this work of art. There's not a huge amount of dialogue, but oh boy, every word counts so much, every line has the potential to become a cultural catch phrase. Make no mistake, this film is an all time classic - it's one of those films that can be watched over, over and over again. I'll most probably buy twice out of respect!

Without a doubt this movie is one of the most adrenaline fueled action movies of all time and is a lot like road warrior. Max is in the wasteland minding his own business until a gang of bandits attack him, Max takes refuge with a group of people who are also wanted by the gang. To save himself he has to help the group and drive a war rig across the wasteland, they have to face of with the gangs leader who wears a mask. They defeat the gang and max returns to the wasteland. This movie is action packed and extremely entertaining. But those are only my thoughts.

By far the best is the series. The whole film is complete and utter bonkers, but all in a good way. Everything in this is all about speed. Speed, speed and more speed. When you think it's all stopped its only so you can take a breather and the speed starts up again. It makes the Fast and the Furious seem really slow. Highly recommend it, but hold on to your seat and be prepared for hyper speed.
