Lust, Caution (NC-17)

An exciting, yet beautifully crafted, film, Lust, Caution is one of Li Ang's best works! The cast are superb! And the musical score greatly helps to create a sense of danger - at times masked but ever present!

One of my favourites: Tony Leung is magnificent, conveying cruelty, grief, treachery and love, with understated potency. It's a great and sad story, told so very well. LOVED IT.

Ang Lee has created a masterpiece with Lust, Caution. Youthful nativity, political cunning, love , lust and tragedy all collide together in this beautifully shot film.
