A Classic Christmas romantic drama with all the essential elements of love, jealousy, passion, estacy, fantasy, eroticism and joy, a real feel good movie. The one disappointment is the taking of the Lord's name in vane being that the truth of Christmas is all about Jesus the Christ, God becoming man in person to bring forgiveness and Love, the one and only sacrifice for the sinful and depraved nature of Mankind.

I'm not normally into 'love stories' as such. However, this movie not that... yet it is. It's a patch work of romance, of sadness, joy and of the common threads that tie everyone in life. Trying to define exactly why this movie works so well is difficult. But it does. Watch it with the one you love, or the one you'd like to love.

This movie celebrates love in all its incarnations... romantic, first sight, longing, unrequited, multicultural, platonic, familial, illicit, enduring.... I believe all but the most hard hearted among us will find something moving within it.
