About this movie

Maria, a rejected teenage girl, forms a relationship with a mysterious autonomous mirror image of herself to escape from the torments of high-school and her alienating parents. Through the looking glass, she finds a friend who listens, encourages and guides her. With the help of her secret 'twin', Maria slowly gains confidence and finds her place as a young woman.

Having a doppelganger from altermate earth is one thing, but having one from your mirror is only when you been going through a lot of problems and the counterpart wants to solve the solution. I'm glad my life is real and not dreams from the comic books so I don't have to go through all that goes on.

The symbolism is GREAT and the surface level storyline was pretty entertaining. Loved it. Unfortunately not a lot of people are deep enough or have the capacity for mature or in-depth analysis but if you look beyond the surface, the message carries deep.

I give it a thumbs up. Worth the watch If you like movies about bullying followed by sweet revenge.
