I have always been a fan of movies such as this kind and Logan's Run is still the best one from this era (1970's)..A classic in every way! Sure the effects were not the best but for that period it was. It showed what MAY happen in the future after wars have destroyed just about everything. I loved the "Renew" scenes the best. A different form of death in a film, with the population willing to die this way and renew, a different vision of rencarnation I guess. A great film to watch and rewatch again and again

This is a sci-fi classic, although the special effects are outdated, they were very decent for its time. The acting is very good but dialogue may be considered old fashioned or poorly written. My favorite character Francis 7 (played by Richard Jordan) is well portrayed as a serial killer(although that term wasn't used as much as today)driven by a false sense of duty ,honor and logic. What I love most about this movie is the story is still relevant today what are we going to do about overpopulation

I strongly encourage those who decide to write synopsis do their research before doing so. If you are not going to at least watch the film you are speaking about, FIND someone who has and ask them about it. This synopsis is completely off base with the actual movie. (Not the first time I've noticed this)
