Lightyear

This was a really good movie ABOUT THE CHARACTER BUZZ LIGHTYEAR that the toy in Toy Story was created to represent . You know, like when we watch Batman & then Batman action figures & memorabilia come out in stores. This is the reason he wanted the action figure of Buzz Lightyear in Toy Story. I don't understand how people aren't getting this concept...it's NOT about the TOY! My family & I loved this movie🤷‍♀️

Ok for the last time it is NOT an extension of Toy Story, folks. Sheesh!! It's an origin story of what the toy was based on - a real person (in the movie). The same way most action figures are created. I enjoyed this movie - characters, storyline and graphics. The same sex kiss was a quick peck. Not approving/disapproving either way. Just giving you the facts. And I didn't get any political vibes either. Don't know how some came up with that.

Homophobes need to stop spamming the rating system. This movie wasn't half bad (and the "controversial" scene was a nothing burger, barely even noticeable). I wouldn't call the movie the inspiration for Andy's love of his Buzz Lightyear toy (Buzz Lightyear of Star Command would've done a better job at that). It's less a typical hero movie and more of a movie that focuses on a message about regulating emotions, overcoming self-doubt and the importance and power of friendship/collaboration.
