About this movie

A haunting and provocative thriller written and directed by Matt Reeves (Cloverfield), based on the best-selling Swedish novel (Let The Right One In). Chloë Grace Moretz (Hit Girl in Kick-Ass) stars as Abby, a mysterious girl who moves next door to Owen (Kodi Smit-McPhee, The Road), a social outcast who is viciously bullied at school. In his loneliness, Owen forms a profound bond with Abby, but as a string of grisly murders grips his wintry New Mexico town, he begins to realise that Abby is anything but 'the girl next-door'.

In 1958 Hammer films set the look of vampires on film with Dracula now theyve done it again with the tale of a lonely child and a sad little vampire girl I found the film exiteing literate and disturbing (esp the vamplre attacks) In the end tragic. Involving movie, with a slow twist to the film that you gradually figure out with the young boy character, quite a sad feel to it and you get a sense of loss and heading nowhere from the young dispossessed characters, as you follow them throughout this somewhat tragic story. Watched it once before, but decided to watch again as it was on a 99 pence offer, such as with these type's of films you see things you missed the first time round. Very cold and dark journey, very enjoyable if you like these sorts of movies.
