About this movie

Following the tragic loss of their son, retired sheriff George Blackledge (Kevin Costner) and his wife Margaret (Diane Lane) leave their Montana ranch to rescue their young grandson from the clutches of a dangerous family in the Dakotas, headed by matriarch Blanche Weboy. When they discover the Weboys have no intention of letting the child go, George and Margaret are left with no choice but to fight for their family.

Good movie unbelievable how vicious humans can be. Whats more sinister is the one who has the mindset to make this movie work. The sad part is there are people out there, that live this way. There are people that do these evil actions dailey. All about intimination and deciding what's right from wrong. In the end sadly one in this situation, truly had done the right thing. Rather then allowing them to continue getting away with these actions. Fear not!!!

Terribly boring and predicable movie. Shocking Costner would do this show. If we were watching it in 1970, it would have been exciting.

Did kids get ahold of their parents phone to rate this? Not perfect and a little slow this does not deserve 1 star. Its decently made, well acted, and if you are anything close to a fan of family thrillers/revenge flicks - or the two leads than this is a nice new release to rent.
