Yet another clean cut representation that Christians create horrible propaganda because that is the only way to get people to believe in the bible. This movie literally has no faith in humanity, and portrays us as vile and disgusting criminals if we don't blindly follow the word of god. The entire premise of this movie is that without Christians on earth, humanity would dive deeply into chaos. Somehow I think the world would be a better place without this movie honestly. THANK GOD the kick-starter for the sequel fails miserably. Unless you're strictly hear for Nicholas Cage... because of course he'd be in this movie... carry on.

Beautiful narrative and incredible dialogue -- definitely one of the most ambitious, high-concept sci-fi films I've seen in years. However, there was one obvious, glaring scientific inaccuracy that robbed the film of it's verisimilitude and prevented me from completely enjoying it: Medically speaking, Nicholas Cage would definitely go to heaven. How the director missed that was absolutely beyond me, it's grade school level stuff. A real shame, too. The movie would have been perfect otherwise.

I can say this much: this movie so badly demotes Nicolas Cage in my mind that I will NEVER let his presence in a movie influence me to watch. The plot was horrible, the effects are horrible, and that's bad enough. But Nicolas must have chosen this only for a paycheck, because his acting is at its worst. The whole thing was so poorly acted that I started wishing for nudity just to give me something good to look at. Just an insultingly horrible movie.
