Based on the novel "The Wettest County in the World," which was inspired by the true-life tales of author Matt Bondurant's family. The film follows the infamous bootlegging Bondurant Brothers as they make a run for the American Dream in Prohibition- era Virginia. The loyalty of the brothers is put to the test against a backdrop of the nation's most notorious crime wave.
