My favorite movie of all time. Beautifully evokes the sounds, glamour, and camp of old Hollywood musicals but in a modern twist. People will complain about the ending, but you really have to look at it from a not two dimensional lens. The story is very nuanced and if you view it as just a movie as opposed to the cinematic masterpiece that it is, you'll be left confused and heartbroken rather than in a state of clarity and understanding (yet still heartbroken). If you are looking for a fun movie of love and loss, great music, and lots of laughs, I think you will really enjoy watching this musical.

La la land is a Memorable Movie, Stunning. La la land may not be the best movie to some people. Some people might call it boring, but I find this movie a masterpiece. The writing is good, it lacks that magic a little in the middle though. The cinematography is breathtaking and Emma Stone did a brilliant job acting. A solid 4.8 for me.

One star for ruining the movie towards the end. 3/4 of the movie was very good, did not like anything about the ending, it could been done better. Would rather watch the greatest showman any day over this.
