I love how this film captured the tragedy of these two brothers coming just short of success. Morales gives a great performance as the half-brother that is so desperate for approval. This movie touches social issues while telling the story of this rising star in a way that is entertaining and heart felt.

I'm in no way a movie critic, but this movie is so well done in my opinion. Maybe I'm partial to Valenzuela's music, but his short story of fame only makes this movie that much more impacting.

This movie is perfect and well rounded and is untouchable and if it is ever remade it will never be as good no matter what. I could watch it all day.
