About this movie

Kung Pow: Enter The Fist is a movie within a movie, created to spoof the martial arts genre. Writer/Director Steve Oedekerk uses contemporary characters and splices them into a 1970s Kung-Fu film, weaving the new and old together. As the main character, The Chosen One (Oedekerk) sets off to avenge the deaths of his parents at the hands of Kung-Fu Legend Master Pain. Along the way, he encounters some strange characters, one of which is a cow trained in the martial arts.

The first time I saw this movie, I rewound it and watched it 11 times in a row. The spoof if the Kung Fu genre is perfect and the script is often so far out of left field, you never expect it. However, you will eventually quote it for years. I can still say a line from this movie and my brother will follow it up with another. Do not go into watching this with a serious tone because it is just for people who enjoy silly comedy. I am still upset they never delivered on the sequel.

I've loved this movie since I was 4, don't go in thinking this will be "A MASTERPIECE", even though it is, it's literally a meme gold mine. Never take it serious especially in the serious parts. This movie is something you should watch if you just wanna see some rediculous, nonsensical comedy. The first time you'll be like "huh" but by the third watching you'll be saying every single line in the movie in perfect unison with the biggest grin on your face.

Name another movie with a greater disparity between the tomato rating and the viewer reviews. Look if you take yourself too seriously, if you go to parties just to complain about how boring they are, if you pretend you're too cool to laugh at farts, you'll hate this movie. But otherwise, enjoy! It's a silly, kitschy totally ridiculous, movie to roll your eyes at and quote endlessly with your friends that don't have sticks wedged too far up their butts.
