About this movie

Acclaimed writer and director Rian Johnson (Brick, Looper, Star Wars: The Last Jedi) pays tribute to mystery mastermind Agatha Christie in KNIVES OUT, a fresh, modern-day murder mystery where everyone is a suspect. When renowned crime novelist Harlan Thrombey (Christopher Plummer) is found dead at his estate just after his 85th birthday, the inquisitive and debonair Detective Benoit Blanc (Daniel Craig) is mysteriously enlisted to investigate. From Harlan's dysfunctional family to his devoted staff, Blanc sifts through a web of red herrings and self-serving lies to uncover the truth behind Harlan's untimely death. With an all-star ensemble cast including Chris Evans, Ana de Armas, Jamie Lee Curtis, Toni Collette, Don Johnson, Michael Shannon, LaKeith Stanfield, Katherine Langford and Jaeden Martell, KNIVES OUT is a fun, witty and stylish whodunit guaranteed to keep audiences guessing until the very end.

A change to the normal spoon feed CGI impossible action that is mainstream these days. Not going to be as good as the old days ever lol but definitely worth a watch for a good £ deal, not necessarily the digital daylight robbery price that seems to be accepted due to convenience. Pick up a copy on sale and enjoy. You even get used to the accent 😂 eventually.

I love this movie so much.every cast member has a moment of comedy, mystery and sudden suspense.A thrilling mystery with Daniel Craig in a roll as good as his best performance (in my opinion) as bond in casino royale.Chris Evans is a really funny presence aswell. Better than Johnson's other film LOOPER.

Hugely overrated, an entirely charmless experience, proof if ever there was that an all star cast can still make for an awful film, Daniel Craig miss cast with an awful supposed deep south U.S accent that will have you drying your teeth at almost every line. A bad show indeed. watch murder on the Orient Express instead.
