This movie was compared with Clue a lot and first things first, this is NOTHING like Clue. Clue was a comedy first and mystery second. Knives Out is also not exactly a classic murder mystery (at least not in my book), as those usually take place over one night. This takes place over a few days and leaves the mansion often. It's still an entertaining flick, but it's pretty obvious who the guilty party is; so much so I really thought Rian was going to "subvert my expectations" again. He did not.

Rian Johnson directed it, so knowing the villain was way too easy. That being said, it was alot of fun, and possibly Rian's best work. Not that this really means anything these days. He is an uninspired director that steals many of his ideas from much better movies. It was still fun to watch, so there is that. Much better than The Last Jedi

Not much of a mystery and the Zane felt forced. But it was entertaining enough and shot well. Wierd oversharpening on Google's 4k version even at 1440p. Ana did a great job. Would have liked more time with the whole family.
