Killing of a Sacred Deer

Yea.. the plot and the trailer and all are nothing to really indicate how truly disturbing and offensive this movie is. I saw the trailer and thought "Oh looks a little disturbing" It's more than that. You know how in Mother they use like everything they can think of to stress you and to keep you stressed and continuously annoyed etc. Its alot like that. Except - I thought that Mother crossed the line a few times, like with the baby scene. This movie crosses the line so many times in so many ways, it is not at all funny. It just makes you wonder... Is this entertainment? Why would someone think this is entertainment. How could you be a proud actor or director or whatever - participating in a ridiculously senselessly disturbing movie like this. And they have child actors in it to boot? Like - congratulations hollywood - you have helped to completely obscure all lines between wrong and right -_- Don't watch it - don't give these disturbed and imoral people your money. It will only encourage them to do more immoral things.

I really like this movie. Great to walk into blind not knowing what to expect. Extremely dark and surreal movie. Unique story and progression, and the way the characters respond to the situation was not like in a typical film. Was interesting to watch everybody put themselves first and turn on each other as the inevitable slowly became apparent. If you like slightly bizarre atmospheric films, and have some patience for slower progressing films, give it a go. Very dark and uncomfortable at times

This movie was one of the worst movies I have seen this year. Nothing made any sense, only good thing was had some good actors, namely the female lead. Not at all suspenseful, badly written and shockingly boring. What a total waste of money.
