About this movie

Finally the truth about clowns is out! Beneath their sinister grins and wildly patterned clothes are clever killers from out of this world. The "juxtaposition of their toy-store arsenal and malevolent intent proves to be a tasty combination" (Los Angeles Times) in this killer entertainment that will leave you fearing these big-top creatures for good. A spaceship looking like a circus tent lands in a field near a small town, signaling the attack of deviant, red-nosed, balloon-twisting psychos from another world who plan to annihilate mankind by turning people into cotton candy! Luckily, the town's teen citizenry decides to fight back and teach the cosmic bozos a lesson. But these klowns are no klutzes, turning popcorn, peanuts and caramel corn into playful but deadly weapons of madcap destruction and mayhem!

Still one of the best "worst" films ever made. The shadow clown was by far my favorite part of the movie....in the spirit of Attack of the Killer Tomatos and the Critters franchise, KKFOS will have you laughing through an oddly creepy and doldrumic circus nightmare. Sit back, light a jay of some sweetass Oregon Grown legal weed, and prepare to laugh at things you never thought could make you LOL.

There's not many movies that can promise something absolutely preposterous and then deliver with such quality. I came across this when it was first released and it's been part of the collection ever since - partly because of its ludicrous inventiveness, partly because of its genuinely scary clowns, partly for the Dickies soundtrack but mostly for the fact that once you've seen this movie you know that no one can ever produce a funnier horror comedy about clowns. Genius through and through

Horrible and Corny. I have never writen a review about anything, but this movie deserves it. Everything in this movie is horrible. Story, there isn't one. Costumes, and makeup, horrendous. Tell you the truth, this movie didn't get worse with time because it was always this bad, but that's what I love about it. It's not scary at all, but it doesn't try to be. I laugh every time I watch it. Guess it helps that my brother hates clowns and freaks every time he sees it.
