Killer Joe

When Chris (Emile Hirsch) has a stash of drugs stolen from him by his mother, he has to come up with six-thousand dollars, or he's dead. Enter "Killer" Joe Cooper (Matthew McConaughey), a hired hit man who will help Chris cash in on his mother's life insurance policy but requires his own fee upfront, no exceptions. When Joe spots Dottie (Juno Temple), Chris' younger sister, he offers to keep the girl as collateral until the fee is paid but as Joe sets out to fulfill his end of the bargain, a devilish series of twists and lies derail the plan.
