I absolutely adore this movie. It’s one of my favorite Ghibli films. Despite that, I hate this dub. This is not the dub I grew up with, so while watching I keep noticing lines that were replaced or just taken out completely leaving behind an awkward silence. So to those who grew up with a particular dub in mind I suggest renting before buying so you don’t have my same experience.

An absolutely wholesome film. Kiki's Delivery Service will leave you with profound feelings that you will come to cherish. I can never not recommend this film. I enjoy both the English and Japanese dub versions of the film. They're both just as great. It's just a matter of what type tone you enjoy. So, be sure to watch the trailers of each film's respective voice over before you decide which version to purchase.

Like other films from Ghibli, the visuals are gorgeous and worth a watch just for the animation and care, but that storyline is... mehhh. It's a 13 year old witches' coming of age story where she tries to find her way in the world in a new town and that's kind of it. This would be fine alone but the studio decided to add some additional drama towards the end that feels unnecessary also Kiki's inconsistent attitude towards others is weird. Super nice to most, but incredibly rude to one nice boy?
