Johnny English Strikes Again

Great for the Johnny English fan. I think this might be the best of the series. I thought it had the right mix of dumb luck and comic failures. The romance was awkward the way it should be for Johnny English and his failure was complete. His sidekick Bough had just enough smarts to help Johnny but not enough to solve everything for him. I was laughing throughout. Many of the bad reviews seem to be from people who didn't like the first two movies. If you fall into that category then this might not be for you. I loved the nods to the Pink Panther movies with the bad french accent and inspector Dreyfus eye twitch. Also the tips to Sherlock Holmes with the urban camouflage.

Rowan Atkinson is a comedic genius. He can make laugh so hard it hurts just through the expression on his face. I loved this movie and the previous two. I hope he will do another like this and another Mr. Bean movie. If you want to fall in love with Rowan Atkinson's movies just start out by watching the Mr. Bean shorts on YouTube.

This movie is an absolute abomination. There seemed to have been almost no effort put in to plot development. The acting is some of the worst I’ve ever seen. I was a fan of the first two Johnny English movies but this is just god awful.
