I own the full collection. I'm not a huge fan but I love horror so I've watched them all multiple times anyways. It's better than the last few but I still wouldn't recommend this because there's much better options for recent horror movies. Buy IT, Mother, or Happy Death Day. They're all far better than this.

Adequate but disappointing considering it's been seven years since the last Saw. The twist makes it slightly worth a watch, and the movie picks up in the second half. The first half is kind of slow, however and the traps are lame compared to previous entries. They should've brought back Dr. Gordon in this one. 3 stars is generous, but the twist got me good.

I didn't care for this as much as the others. This movie seemed rushed and not very well thought out. Poorly acted, except for Tobin Bell. I was really hoping for more of a John Kramer connection to the new game maker. The twist was interesting, but just not enough to be that impressed by. I am a huge fan of the Saw series, but they really need to stop now. Jigsaw is dead, the games are not to be survived, and that is how the series started, with the opportunity to live and be thankful for your life. Now it is all revenge motivated and the people in this one were not interconnected by any common background! I gave it a three for old times sake, but it's really a 2!
