Jigsaw

Usual gore fest in the latest from this franchise. It seems like the producers are running out of ideas and should have stopped at the last episode. I wasn't awe inspired by this movie, quite frankly the ending was a bit limp. I'd rent this out, but I wouldn't waste my money on buying it.

Mixed bag. Some of the 'games' are inventive, with plenty of gore and some gripping moments, but much of what falls between these set pieces is mundane. The big reveal in the final act shows that the film chose a clever narrative ploy in an attempt to fool viewers. But for me, in doing so it ended the myth of Jigsaw and replaced him with a bland copycat killer.

I thought it was a great film, back to saw basics. It's not just a gore fest in my opinion. It's got a very clear storyline. Suppose you cam never trust horror film reviews because everyone's acting tough. I wouldn't say it was a horror really, too much storyline for that. Makes me want to go back and watch the other saw films now!
