Karthik Subbaraj has yet again delivered another refreshing film that goes against all cliches associated with Tamil movies. Sidharth and Karunakaran acted brilliantly. However, the standout performance to me is Bobby Simha's. His body language, delivery of dialogue and his performance in the climax scene are outstanding. Amidst the cliche of movies that are being delivered in the name of mass entertainment (targeting B and C centres), am glad to see such refreshing films by new directors. Well done team !!!

Allround performace by the director, music director, cameraman, cast & crew. Kudos to all. Special credits for Siddharth to accepting a script which has more scope for bobby simha. Bobby simha desreves the Natiinal award for sure.

Not your average gangster movie. This one has a not so typical story line that will keep you engaged and laughing at times. Since it is a fresh change, there is nothing predictable in it. There are some violence scenes and therefore not family friendly, but the violence isn't the main part of the movie that is so typical in Tamil films these days. Siddarth and Bobby Simha are spot on with their roles. Lakshmi Menon's role was weak and I thought it could have been developed more. She is not a major player for the most part which is a shame. There is very little romance here, but that doesn't mean it is not a movie that can't be enjoyed by both men and women. It is very entertaining. A must watch for Tamil movie fans.
