Definitely did not come close to the trilogy that Matt did so well in. It was entertaining and I might watch it again in five years or so. I loved the trilogy and thought they were Matt's crowning achievement. Yes he is aged in this movie and they didn't try to use that at all. They could have gone a little more like the first book where he just gets owned for 90% of it but his perseverance makes up for the thrashings. Instead they repeat the deep-deep conspiracy crap (or was this one deep-deep-deep?) from the third movie and the scenes are too predictable to be worth a second watch. Yes everything you thought could go wrong with a fourth Bourne movie did.

When I first saw the previews for this movie, I thought this could be one of the better movies of the year. I was wrong. I did find the movie entertaining and fun but it didn't have the same intensity that the others did. I did find Matt Damon great once again as Jason Bourne but most of the other actors and actresses were not very good or believable. Also, I didn't like how this movie forces a sequel at the end. I would rate this a 6.5 out of 10.

The same thing happens over and over in this film. There is a meeting spot, someone gets followed, a gun gets shot and everyone starts running, enter car chase, someone gets defeated, and now on to the next rehash of the same event in a different location. No motivation on either side and the plot is just weak. The part where it went from OK to dislike was at the end fight scene. The camera shakes, and the cutting and switches are so fast I had to close my eyes because it was making me sick.
