About this movie

Writer director Taika Waititi, brings his signature style of humor and pathos to his latest film, JOJO RABBIT, a World War II satire that follows a lonely German boy whose world view is turned upside down when he discovers his single mother is hiding a young girl in their attic. Aided only by his idiotic imaginary friend, Adolf Hitler, Jojo must confront his naive patriotism.

Didn’t think much, I thought I’d want to feel good and watch a comedy movie but nooo nuh uh. This movie will get you on the first half and will give you all the feels on the second half. The foreshadowing, lines, plot, it’s all perfectly made that I’m pretty sure if this was released not on the same time as Parasite, this will win Best Picture. Added to my best movie list and I know will be added to every viewer. 11/10

A great film with great cinematic shots and acting. Very funny but also emotional, it was amazing to watch. Made me wanna watch it more and literally made me cried in my pajamas twice. I highly recommend having a tissue box next to you while watching it. I also don't recommend saying, 'Funny as cancer' and giving this low star just because everyone died after the nuke.

I love this film. so many emotions. wrong, right... so many thoughts and opinion. There isn't really a happy ending when it comes to war. A bittersweet ending. The screenplay was good, different and dare to challenge people's opinions.
