Ironclad

A great film set in the middle ages, at the time of King John (just after Robin Hood!) Full of action and sword play and a great performance By James Purefoy as the crusader Thomas Marshal.

I would watch James Purefoy reciting the phone book, so maybe my review is a bit one-sided, but even besides that : great action , acting and even storyline.

Historically inaccurate and over the top. But oh it's wonderful. King John is arguably my all time highlight and worth watching just for that
