This movie is visually spectacular & had potential but was so boring. As I was watching I kept hoping it would get better or at least have some great ending after almost 3 hours. I understand relatively as related to Time. But, you don't care about the characters and the acting gets a "C-". The writer must have been high when he wrote the last 30 minutes. Don't waste your time or money on this film. Watch "Gravity" again instead and see some real acting even if it wasn't scientifically accurate.

It just wasn't that good. There were quite a few emotional moments that got to me (also see: Forever Young), but I was disengaged from the overall story. I didn't care what happened to anyone outside the main two characters and lost interest halfway. Thankfully the ending was pointless and justified my zoned out two hour nap. If you want a space movie, watch Gravity, Guardians of the Galaxy, or even Spaceballs..

I figure out how the whole thing would play out 30 minutes in (it might have been 33, I checked the time but I can't remember exactly). Or rather, how a lazy and cliche movie would play out. To my disappointment, I was right at every turn. If you have never seen a sci-fi movie in your life, you'll like it. If cliches outweigh flashy graphics, then you won't.
