Insidious: The Last Key

A contradictory film in the franchise that contradicts the Paranormal Scare Tactics of the 3 previous films and focuses more on Humanity through spirituality. Which is not necessarily a bad thing but it does contradict the franchise it is called Insidious? I suppose in retrospect they tried to create a balance between light and dark... But in the end it seemed more like a lifetime original TV film. Weakest in the franchise I hope it's not the swan song they could do better. But kudos to some of the performances mainly the protagonist.

How can such a movie have more than 2 stars?? The scenario is awful, the characters are cliché and awfully written, the jumpscares are bad and predictable, the story is for the most part boring, and it is not remotely scary. The monster also looks terrible, they cut a lot of scenes from the trailer, and don't expect the movie to answer to any of the questions you may ask yourself while watching it. Definitely one of the laziest movies if not the laziest movie I've ever watched.

Easily my least favorite Insidious movie. Don't get me wrong, the story was interesting, but it felt like a completely different movie. The first was then best. The next two were great. This, not so much.
